Make a special creation to add to Renny, Renfrew’s rock snake, a creation at the myFM Centre started by Renfrew County Voices. The Art Factory is hosting a rock painting event on Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 11 Bridge Street in Renfrew. All you need to do is bring is a rock.
Merv Warren is back at it this Saturday at 8 p.m. as he and his friends turn the Renfrew Wing’s Roundel Lounge into a dance club for the evening. Dance the night away to flashing lights and great music from the 70’s and 80’s provided by Merv! Prizes for best dressed in keeping with the 70s & 80s themes. 50/50 draw, perhaps even a dance off. NO COVER CHARGE.
Canadian roots troubadour Zachary Lucky makes his way to the Little Red Wagon Winery, C-165 Calumet Road West, Shawville, on June 29 as apart of his “Prairie to Pine” tour! Reserve now for dinner at 6:00 p.m. that evening before Zachary takes the stage at 7:00 p.m. Tickets on sale now.
And on Monday, a number of area municipalities, including The Town of Renfrew, are hosting Canada Day festivities.
