Helen Visneskie of Renfrew has won $500,000 as part of the June 8th LOTTO MAX draw.
The 78-year-old grandmother, won half of a MAXMILLIONS prize that was shared with another winning ticket.
Helen is a regular lottery player and says she used the OLG app to scan her ticket and thought something must have been wrong.
She says she looked at her husband in disbelief adding it was quite the shock.
Helen plans to pay some bills and would like to travel next year starting with a train ride across Canada.
The winning ticket was purchased at Debul and Co. on O’Brien Road in Renfrew.
