A Renfrew woman is close to winning a $500,000 LOTTO MAX ticket.
Helen Visneskie’s sister is an employee at an OLG retailer, so her $500k prize falls within OLG’s definition of an “insider win”.
There is a process when it comes to claiming an “insider win”, which includes enhanced scrutiny of the prize claim.
The prize will also be held for a 30-day period and if there are no additional claims on the prize, it will be paid out to Visneskie in September.
The winning ticket was purchased at Debul and Co in Renfrew.
