Attention Sledheads – here’s something just for you. The annual Old Sled Show is this Saturday (January 12th), at the Eganville Snodrifters Clubhouse. Original organizer Mark “Sauce” Childerhose says a bargain is still to be had.
Childerhose says the big distributors have jumed on the bandwagon, buying up parts that used to be exchanged between sledders. The Old Sled Show runs from 10AM to 3PM, and provides enthusiasts with the chance to buy and sell parts used in the restoration of old snowmachines, or pickup a sled you can restore as a personal project. Childerhose says he has been downsizing his own collection due to health issues, and you might find something in his inventory you’d like. The Eganville Snodrifters Clubhouse will be open for food and refreshments during the event. Admission is five dollars per person.
