The Township of Admaston-Bromley has assigned Council committee duties for the coming year, and a new Waste Management Committee has been struck, separate from Public Works. Mayor Michael Donohue says there are two pressing issues that require Council’s focus and attention.
The Mayor says there’s uncertainty about what the new Progressive Conservative government will do with a plan by the formal Liberal government to eliminate landfills in the Province within two decades.
More pressing is the issue of the Township’s dump. The Osceola landfill has run out of space.
