Communities across the Ottawa Valley will officially head to the polls today as they consider who should lead their municipalities for the next four years.
The 2026 municipal elections will be decided today, with most local municipalities conducting in-person paper ballot voting to choose their next mayors, councillors and school board trustees between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm today.
Online and advanced polling has been available in the lead-up for most communities, while others have chosen to conduct their voting entirely online or by phone.
Check with your municipality’s town hall or clerks office if you have any questions or need assistance with the voting process.
