The six people vying to be mayor of Renfrew joined us here at myFM in an all candidates meeting on Thursday night.
Candidates were given the opportunity to answer questions submitted by our listeners, sharing their views on key campaign issues such as the financial status of the town and increasing revenue, how best to grow the community, connecting with the public and restoring trust in town hall, the use of strong mayor powers, and how to create a safe and inclusive community.
Missed the debate? We will re-broadcast it on 96.1 myFM and RenfrewToday.ca on Saturday morning at 8:00 am, Sunday morning at 7:00 am, and immediately after myFM Radio Bingo on Wednesday, October 21.
The full debate is also available on our Facebook page.
