There is still room to swing into the Civic Holiday long weekend by helping young grievers make important connections.
The first-ever Zohr Family Funeral Home Remembrance Classic will tee off this Friday, July 31, at the Renfrew Golf Club, and Madison Zohr says there are just a few spaces left for teams looking to take advantage of the weekend while supporting a worthy cause.
The young grievers camp combines traditional camp fun with grief education and support every year along Christie Lake, just west of Perth, empowering children and youth when they need it most.
Players will also get the vendors’ market and lunch by Eganville’s Rio Tap & Grill ahead of the 1:00 pm shotgun start, plus games and activities along the full 18 holes of golf along one of the Ottawa Valley’s best courses, followed by a buffet dinner and entertainment by the Riley New Band afterwards.
Golfers can sign up now on the Renfrew Golf Club website and are asked to check in at the course starting at 11:00 am that morning.
