TODAY: Renfrew’s youth can get some gym time in today at the myFM Centre! The town will open up the Home Hardware Gymnasium to the public for a free session every Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Ages 8+, registration required. Stick around afterward for a game of pick-up basketball from 7:00 to 9:00 pm for just $2 per person. Ages 13+, sign up online.
TODAY: The Arnprior Public Library holds a paper quilling meet-up every Monday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Enthusiasts and those looking to learn a new craft over a bit of social time are invited to bring their supplies and projects- the library will provide the space. Registration with the library is encouraged.
TODAY: Cold Bear Brewery in Arnprior hosts their new cornhole league Monday nights at 6:00 pm! The greatest athletes in Arnprior and the surrounding area will gather at their Madawaska Blvd. location to compete for a Cold Bear gift card. Games will be played in teams of 2, sign up as a team for $5. Plus, BBQ will be available as a dinner option on Monday nights!
TOMORROW: The Town of Renfrew will host a Free Pop-Up Dance Fit with Olga this Tuesday evening at the myFM Centre’s Dance Studio. Get moving with a fun, high-energy class with easy to follow routines and upbeat music! Perfect for improving cardio, coordination, and overall strength. TOMORROW: The Renfrew Public Library hosts a weekly technology workshop every Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Come with questions and problems and learn the basics of computers, tablets, and phones. For ages 18+.
TOMORROW: Enterprise Renfrew County will host a free webinar this Tuesday, July 21. Entrepreneurs and business owners can learn how intellectual property can protect and grow their business with an overview of patents, trademarks, copyrights and industrial designs, an explanation of how intellectual property supports business goals.
