With more children spending their summer on two wheels, the Renfrew OPP Detachment is inviting young cyclists to brush up on bike safety.
The local detachment will host their Ride Smart Bicycle Safety Program over two sessions this Wednesday, July 22, which they are calling a fun and active way for kids to build confidence before heading out into the community.
Kids will get the chance to learn the rules of the road, handling and riding skills, confidence-building, and safe riding habits.
The OPP will provide any required equipment. Sign up by emailing Constable Tina Hunt ahead of the event.
