TODAY: Tim Hortons locations across the Ottawa Valley will host their Camp Day Fundraiser this Wednesday, July 15! 100% of the sales from hot or iced coffees purchased throughout the day will support sending local underprivileged youth to Camp des Voyageurs in Quyon! Camp Day bracelets, shirts, and doughnuts also available while supplies last.
TODAY: Test your skill this Wednesday as the Arnprior Public Library’s Community Chess Club opens for another in-person meeting starting at noon. The library supplies the chess boards, you bring your interest for the game and join fellow enthusiasts every Wednesday in our Art Corridor. This is an informal meetup for all ages and skill levels.
TODAY: The Connexions Resource Centre and the Western Quebec Literacy Council will host a seminar on Digital Literacy and Cloud Storage this Wednesday at 10:00 am inside St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 530 Rue Main in Shawville. Dive into the digital world with confidence! Join us for an interactive journey where you will learn how to manage your files using cloud storage. RSVP online.
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Public Library celebrates Ontario Historic Places week with a historic walk through town led by Heritage Renfrew this Thursday at 6:30 pm. The guided tour runs through Renfrew’s historic upper main street, covering some of the most iconic buildings between Raglan St. South between the Post Office and Hall Ave. Register for the free event here.
TOMORROW: Meet Clancy the terrier and his handler every Thursday at the Arnprior Public Library! They will meet with library visitors every Thursday at 3:00 pm as they gain community hours through the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program. Clancy loves spreading joy throughout the library and receiving lots of pets and praise.
