TODAY: The Queens of the Greens Golf Tournament is back at Dragonfly Golf Link in Renfrew this Thursday, July 9. The ladies-only event invites foursomes to hit the course for a day of golf, laughs, and girl time in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Plus cocktails, food, shopping, and more after the round.
TODAY: The Ducati Owners Club of Canada are ready for their Calabogie Festival, their second track event of the season at Calabogie Motorsports Park, this Thursday and Friday. All rider levels are welcome to attend for great riding, social time, and unforgettable memories in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Sign up on their website.
TODAY: Meet Clancy the terrier and his handler every Thursday at the Arnprior Public Library! They will meet with library visitors every Thursday at 3:00 pm as they gain community hours through the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program. Clancy loves spreading joy throughout the library and receiving lots of pets and praise.
THIS WEEKEND: The Beachburg Fair celebrates 170 years of heritage with four days of music, food, midway rides, livestock and 4-H demonstrations, truck and tractor pulls, a demolition derby, and more from Thursday, July 8, to Sunday, July 12. TOMORROW: The Downtown Renfrew BIA presents the Heart of Renfrew Market every Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in July and August. Low Square will transform into a vibrant gathering place featuring local farmers, artisans, makers, and small businesses from across the Ottawa Valley. Plus, stick around for their weekly Music in the Square concert.
TOMORROW: The Arnprior Legion hosts its weekly Burger Friday lunch, rain or shine at Legion Branch 174 on Daniel Street North! Drop by from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for burgers, sausages, hotdogs, fries and poutine. Plus, the bar will be open for refreshments!
