Renfrew and Area Seniors’ Home Support are taking their first steps towards something grand.
The volunteer-based program has announced that they will be part of The Grand Parade, a nationwide fundraising walk that directs support to local charities that help aging Canadians and their families.
Community members are encouraged to register for the walk on Saturday, September 19, donate towards the $20,000 local goal, and pledge their support by volunteering during the event.
The program is also looking for team captains, who will be tasked with recruiting friends, family, neighbours, and work colleagues to create teams and fundraise together.
