Commuters heading through Calabogie and Burnstown will need to plan ahead starting this week.
A culvert replacement being done by the County of Renfrew will close Calabogie Road from Burnstown Road to Fraser Road beginning on Monday, June 15, and continuing through Friday, July 3.
Work on the project will keep the road closed from Monday to Friday for the next three weeks with no emergency access through the active construction zone. However, local traffic will be permitted from either end of the closure, and access for everyone will be restored on those weekends.
Traffic will be detoured from both ends of the closure through Renfrew, starting from Norton Road and Whelan Road near Calabogie and Burnstown Road.
Updates on the project and subsequent closures will be provided as construction progresses.
