TODAY: The township of McNab/Braeside’s ParticipACTION Community Challenge continues with Yoga in the Gardens, this Wednesday, June 10 at the Waba Cottage Museum and Gardens. It’s a free event from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, part of month of activities within the township. Pre-registration required.
TODAY: Renfrew’s Park and Play trailer continues it’s summer tour with an afternoon of play from 4:00 to 5:30 pm inside Low Square this Wednesday, June 10. Families can get active, meet friends, and spend time outdoors with a variety of sporting equipment, games, and activities.
TOMORROW: Thursday is games day with the Local Immigration Partnership of Renfrew and Lanark Counties! Drop by the Renfrew Public Library this Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to explore and play games enjoyed across different cultures and countries. From classic favourites to games you may be trying for the very first time, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
TOMORROW: Calling all of Renfrew’s aspiring young chefs! Cooking classes for youth are back at the myFM Centre this summer, led by the amazing instructor, Trish Turner! Kids ages 8-12 are invited to come to the youth centre inside the arena to learn how to prepare a different recipe each week! Sign up online.
TOMORROW: Dragonfly Family and Learning Services welcome you to the Park Social Club, this Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Fortingon Park, 285 Jordan Avenue! It’s a casual, drop-in style meet up for neurodivergent children and their families. No need to register, just show up and enjoy the park alongside other families!
