TODAY: The Renfrew Public Library hosts its weekly murder mystery club every Thursday at 5:45 pm. Work as a group to solve a case file from the Unsolved Case Files game. Each file takes a few weeks to solve! For ages 18+. Register online.
TODAY: Roast Beef Dinner at the Eganville Legion, this Thursday: Located at 57 Veteran’s Wy in nearby Eganville, dinner is served from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by live music
TODAY: Thursdays are Badminton day at the myFM Centre! The Town of Renfrew hosts weekly games inside the arena’s gymnasium every Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. All skill levels welcome. $4.42 + tax for the three hour session. Register on the town’s website.
TOMORROW: myFM and Keymac Motorsports present the Rock the Block Dance Party, this Friday, May 29 at the Renfrew Wing! All your favourite 80s hits, plus a video dance party, featuring The Bomb – An 80s Live Experience! Plus, a chance to win $2500 in cash and $2500 to shop and eat in Downtown Renfrew and Pembroke! TOMORROW: The 7th Annual King of the Cats Catfish Derby gets underway this weekend along the Ottawa River from Bryson to Chapeau & Westmeath to Hwy 148 Bridges. Fishing starts at 6:00 pm on Friday and continues until 4:00 pm on Saturday. Proceeds supporting the Beachburg Hall. Register at the La Passe and Westmeath Boat Launches.
TOMORROW: NSA Canada presents: The Ottawa Valley Championships! Get ready for one of the most electric slo-pitch weekends in the Ottawa Valley! Games start Friday, May 29 at 7:00 pm and continue until 6:30 pm on Sunday, May 31. Being played at the ball diamonds in Renfrew, 1 Ma-te-Way Park Drive, Arnprior, 178 McLean Ave, and McNab/Braeside, 486 Calabogie Road. More information online.
