The Renfrew County Catholic District School Board has announced leadership changes for the next school year.
Jane O’Gorman, the current Vice-Principal at St. John XXIII in Arnprior, will transition to the role of Principal at Our Lady of Fatima in Renfrew this September.
O’Gorman is seasoned educator with a career that spans nearly thirty years with the RCCDSB, including her first position at St. Michael’s Elementary School in Douglas in 1997, and seventeen years with St. Josephs Catholic High School, where she frequently served as Principal Designate.
Erin Welch, currently serving as Acting Vice-Principal for St. Joseph’s High School in Renfrew, has been appointed the permanent role effective June 1st.
Welch has dedicated her career to the RCCDSB, beginning with long-term occasional assignments before earning a permanent position at Our Lady of Fatima in 2025. She joined the St. Joseph’s community in 2021 and was appointed to her current role in 2025.
