The Renfrew OPP says at least one person was caught up in their traffic safety campaign over the long weekend.
Full results from Canada Road Safety Week are still being tabulated, but local police were able to catch one driver travelling 130 km/h in a posted 90 km/h zone along Highway 17 in Horton.
The 24-year-old driver from Ottawa was suspended on two separate occasions. He was issued five summons for a future court date while his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The OPP reminds you that speeding puts everyone at risk and urges you to slow down and drive responsibly.
