Part of Renfrew’s downtown core will be closed off on Monday evening as sewer repairs happen overnight.
Construction crews will close off Raglan Street South from Opeongo Road to Renfrew Avenue West starting at 8:00 pm on May 11th to fix a sanitary wastewater pipe.
Residents and businesses in the area can expect increased noise levels as the project continues into the evening, with the closure expected to end at 4:00 am on Tuesday, May 12th.
The project will also require Prince Avenue to close from Argyle Street South and Plaunt Street South during that time.
A detour will be in place via Argyle Street, as town staff ask commuters to follow posted signage and drive with caution.
