TODAY: Get some gym time in today at the myFM Centre! The town will open up the Home Hardware Gymnasium to the public for a free session every Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Ages 8+, registration required. Stick around afterward for a game of pick-up basketball from 7:00 to 9:00 pm for just $2 per person. Ages 13+, sign up online.
TODAY: The Eganville Legion, 57 Veteran’s Way, hosts 6 Hand Euchre every Monday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm! Join friends and family at the legion for a fast-paced and strategic game that will test your teamwork. For more information, call 613-628-2802
TOMORROW: The Parents’ Voice – Shawville Area, 244 Rue Main, Shawville, will host a fun and interactive 1‑hour planting workshop with Lindsay Hamilton from Homegrown! Kids will learn meaningful gardening tips and get hands‑on experience planting their very own creation. Every child will go home with a pot and a new plant to care for. 6:00 pm at the Shawville Lodge this Tuesday, May 12th. $20 per child. Ages 5+, with parental supervision and assistance encouraged. TOMORROW: Tuesday night is Kids Night in McNab/Braeside! This event is all about the kids. Kids Night and learn the basics of archery, practice your skills, and see how fun it is to hit the target like a pro! Tuesday, May 12th, 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Murray Yantha Centre. Renfrew Minor Baseball will start its season over the week of May 11th, with games for all ages groups getting underway at the following locations: T-Ball – May 13 5:00 to 6:00 pm @ Tye Diamond. Rookie: May 12 5:00-6:00 pm @ Tye Diamond. Minor: May 12 and 14 6:30 – 8:30 pm @ Tye Diamond. Major: May 11 and 13 6:30 – 8:00 pm @ Tye Diamond. Junior: May 12 and 14 6:30 – 8:00 pm @ Seely Diamond.
Renfrew Minor Soccer will host a Referees meeting at the arena at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 13th.
