Purchase any large cheese or pepperoni pizza for just $12, and Domino’s will donate $5 to the Renfrew Amateur Wrestling Club. Every dollar raised will help us cover the expenses of sending our dedicated athletes to Halifax, Nova Scotia, for this year’s Canada East Youth Wrestling Tournament!
TODAY: Are you looking for help with technology? Want to learn the basics of computers, tablets and phones? Stop by the Renfrew Public Library every Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:30 pm for help with technology. Come with questions and problems! Register online to reserve your spot, drop ins welcome! For ages 18+. THIS WEEK: Renfrew and Area Seniors Home Support will draw for its Mother’s Day Gift Basket Raffle on May 8th! Tickets are $5 each and available at the Golden Age Activity Centre, 212 Raglan St. South, or by calling the office at 613-366-4747 with a credit card. Proceeds support activities and programming for both groups.
TOMORROW: The Golden Age Activity Centre will host Carrie Bursey from Service Canada, who will be at their Raglan St. South office this Wednesday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm to help with Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Canadian Dental Care Plan and Canada Disability Benefit. *please note: The centre will be closed for lunch from 12pm-1pm.
TOMORROW: Get your little one active this Wednesday as the Town of Renfrew hosts Kindergym! Parents with kids aged 5 and under are welcome to stop by the myFM Centre Gymnasium from 10:00 to 11:30 am let them explore tunnels, wedges, and beams with the aim of increasing strength, balance, and coordination! Adults remain at arms length through the adventure. $10/child. Register online.
TOMORROW: Wednesday night is Music Trivia Night at Boston Pizza Renfrew! Gather up your friends and team up to test your music knowledge for a great cause, the Renfrew 4-H Club! Teams of 6 can take part for $10/person, with 100% of proceeds going to local 4-H activities. Reserve your table at 613-434-6927.

Renfrew Minor Baseball has released it’s Week 1 Schedule, with all age groups starting their season between May 6th and May 9th: T-ball– Wednesday 5:30 to 6:30, Rookie– Tuesday 5 to 6:30, Minor– Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8, Major– Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8 , Jr/Sr– Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8
Renfrew Minor Soccer will host a Meet the Coaches night at the myFM Centre from 6:00 – 7:30 pm on Monday, May 4th. There will also be a Referees meeting at the arena at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 13th.
The Renfrew Vipers Amateur Wrestling Club heads to Windsor, Nova Scotia this weekend for the Canada East Wrestling Festival.
