Provincial police say one person has been charged after officers responded to a report of intimate partner violence in McNab/Braeside.
The Renfrew OPP was sent in to the township to investigate following a call made on Wednesday, April 29th, eventually arresting a person involved in the incident on three counts of assault, assault to cause bodily harm, two counts of sexual assault, and forcible confinement.
The accused was released from custody and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
The OPP reminds anyone living in or involved in an abusive relationship that help is available:

- Victims can attend the emergency department of any hospital in Renfrew County and ask to speak to a member of their Assault Response Team.
