Weapons-related charges have been laid following a recent investigation by the Renfrew OPP.
Officers attended a weapons call for service within town limits back on Tuesday, April 14th, where they identified and arrested a 24-year-old person of interest from Renfrew on the following counts:
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm whose serial number has been tampered with
- Two counts failing to comply with a probation order
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
