TODAY: Learn one of the fastest growing sports in the world as the Town of Renfrew hosts beginner pickleball at the myFM Centre every Tuesday at 5:00 pm. Join other beginners in a relaxed, welcoming environment to learn the basics, practice your skills, and enjoy fun, friendly games. No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm. TODAY: The Renfrew County 55+ Games continue this Tuesday, April 28th as Chalk River’s Lions Hall hosts Euchre starting at 1:00 pm! Find out more about the games on the Ontario Senior Games Association website.
TOMORROW: Join the Renfrew Public Library for their after school hang! Drop in from 3:00 to 4:45 pm each Wednesday to compete on the Switch, play board games, eat snacks, and hang out! Ages 8-14.
TOMORROW: Hospice Renfrew hosts a grief support group every last Wednesday of the month from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at the Cobden Legion. THIS WEEK: Renfrew and Area Seniors Home Support is hosting it’s 100 Square 50/50 Fundraiser all month long! Each square on the board is $10 each, with the jackpot rising to $500 if all squares are bought before the May 1st draw. Renfrew Minor Baseball has released it’s Week 1 Schedule, with all age groups starting their season between May 6th and May 9th: T-ball– Wednesday 5:30 to 6:30, Rookie– Tuesday 5 to 6:30, Minor– Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8, Major– Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8 , Jr/Sr– Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8
Renfrew Minor Soccer will host a Meet the Coaches night at the myFM Centre from 6:00 – 7:30 pm on Monday, May 4th. There will also be a Referees meeting at the arena at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 13th.
