Richard and Shelly Dean
Renfrew’s Tim Hortons locations have been working around the clock as their Smile Cookie campaign begins.
The restaurant’s spring fundraiser is now underway across Canada, and local franchise owner Richard Dean is thrilled for the opportunity to connect with the local freemasons with the goal of raising $20,000 to keep the community moving comfortably.
Proceeds from cookie purchased will go directly to the Masons 4 Mobility, which means the goal is to sell 10,000 cookies. That’s a feat that Dean says is lofty but something they have done before with the help of the many volunteers they rely on nightly to give the smile cookies their signature grin.
Don’t be if you get asked if you want to add a smile cookie to your order this week, as Dean says team have worked hard to start the fundraiser on a high note and are just as eager to help the cause as he is.
The Smile Cookie campaign runs from now until this Sunday, May 3rd.
