TODAY: Renfrew’s Community Volunteer Fair returns this Wednesday, April 22nd at the myFM Centre Community Hall! Find your cause and fuel your passion by connecting with local groups and organizations, available on site from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Explore opportunities to develop new skills, meet new people, gain experience, and give back to the community.
TODAY: Wednesday night is Music Trivia Night at Boston Pizza in Renfrew! TOMORROW: Poutine Feast opens it’s 2026 season in Renfrew with four days of gravy-covered, gourmet goodness starting this Thursday at the Visitor Information Centre off of O’Brien Road! 11:00 am to 8:00 pm April 23-25, and 11:00 am to 6:00 pm April 26. Live entertainment, games, music, plus plenty of classic and unique takes on Canada’s favourite comfort food all weekend long! Local vendors also on site.
TOMORROW: St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Cobden, 34 Pembroke St., is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser this Thursday, April 23rd! Dinner starts at 4:30 pm. Complete meal of spaghetti, sauce, bun, Caesar salad, drink and cookies for a Goodwill Donation. Proceeds towards “The Big Give” and the Cobden School Healthy Snacks Program. Take out available, as are wheelchair accessible tables.

Renfrew Minor Baseball has released it’s Week 1 Schedule, with all age groups starting their season between May 6th and May 9th: T-ball– Wednesday 5:30 to 6:30, Rookie– Tuesday 5 to 6:30, Minor– Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8, Major– Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8 , Jr/Sr– Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8
Renfrew Minor Soccer will host a Meet the Coaches night at the myFM Centre from 6:00 – 7:30 pm on Monday, May 4th. There will also be a Referees meeting at the arena at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 13th.
