After getting back on track this past season season, the Renfrew Wolves are set to add some fresh faces to their lineup tonight.
The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) draft is happening Tuesday, April 21st at the Nepean Sportsplex starting at 6:00 p.m.
Players born in 2008, 2009 and 2010 who are registered with Hockey Eastern Ontario and who competed on a sanctioned HEO team this past season are eligible for the draft.
The first two rounds of the draft will see each team in the CCHL “protecting” players born in 2010. Following that, round 3 will see the draft proper begin with all eligible players who weren’t protected in the first two rounds officially on the table.
Last year’s draft saw the Wolves select local defenseman Andrew Enright in the first round, who went on to appear in 32 games for the Junior A squad in his rookie season.
