Town staff in Renfrew are laying down an Earth Day challenge for the community.
With the internationally renown environmental protest movement looking to make a difference around the world this Wednesday, April 22nd, community members are invited to pitch in by cleaning up litter in their neighbourhoods.
Clean up kits with gloves and bags are available through the town all month long, including at Town Hall, the myFM Centre, and the Renfrew Public Library. Residents can also get a kit at the town’s Volunteer Fair, this Wednesday at the arena.
Town staff will collect and dispose of completed waste bags on request. Register your clean-up effort with Renfrew Environment Services at 613-432-4848 x307 or by email.
