TODAY: The 2026 Renfrew County Regional Science and Technology Fair is being held Saturday April 11, 2026 at a new location in Algonquin College’s Pembroke Campus! Students from Grade 5 to 12 will present their projects for a chance to win cash prizes and entry into the Canada Wide Science Fair with the top 500 young scientists in Canada!
TODAY: The Calabogie United Church, 1044 Madawaska St, hosts a spring ham dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 pm this Saturday, April 11th. Ham, hash brown potato casserole, salad, bun and pie Gluten free options available. Cost adults-$20.,children under 12—$10.
TODAY: Renfrew Skating Club presents Their annual ice show “Game Night” A showcase of our club’s skating talent! Saturday, April 11th at the myFM Centre. TWO SHOWS: 1pm and 4pm Free admission / donations welcome Raffle prizes, 50/50 raffle and flowers for sale
TODAY: Join the Renfrew Ag Society at the Renfrew Fairgrounds, 7:00 pm this Saturday, April 11th, for a fundraiser to support Harry & Trish Smith, who tragically lost their home to a fire in December. Harry & Trish are not only Renfrew residents but they are avid volunteers with the Renfrew Fair! Your donation is your cover to get in!! The Renfrew Barn Dance will feature local favourites – The Kyle Felhaver Band and Midnight Special!
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Running Club takes off from outside Ottawa Valley Coffee on Raglan St. South each Sunday at 10:00 am! Everyone is welcome to join them, with routes from 4-6 km plus beginner and walker friendly options available so everyone finishes at the same time. TOMORROW: Start your day with a hearty breakfast and some friendly competition! Join the Bryson Lions Club for a regular breakfast, then stick around for a fun Euchre game right after. Renfrew Minor Soccer is hosting a session for coaches at the myFM Centre ahead of their season opening later this spring. The meeting gets underway Sunday, April 19th at 12:30 pm.
Renfrew Minor Baseball wants new and returning umpires to join them at the myFM Centre from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm this Sunday, April 12th, for training ahead of the season opening this spring. If you’re unable to attend, please reach out to Brandon, our Umpire-in-Chief, to make alternate arrangements.
