Communities in the Ottawa Valley can expect the weather to heat up in a hurry as we get further into April.
Environment Canada’s long-range forecasts are calling for warmer temperatures across Eastern Ontario, following a pattern of above-average temperatures expected across the region from now until June.
That comes after a cold and wet March marked by multiple stretches of freezing rain and winter storms causing power outages and poor road conditions for most of the province.
Their data also suggests that most of the province, including Renfrew County, could get more rain than usual for the rest of the month.
