A lot has been said about moving the Province’s Municipal Election process under the authority of Elections Ontario, but it’s not entirely correct that The Municipal Property Assessment Coroprtation (MPAC), the former steward, has nothing to do with it anymore.
MPAC is still the agency to indicate how you show your school support, and thus how you pick the appropriate School Trustee to vote for.
English Public is the defaut option, but you may also indicate English Separate, French Separate, French Public- or, if you live in Pentanguishene, Protestant Separate.
It doesn’t matter whether or not you have kids in the school system.
Your information has to be updated if you need to change how it’s listed- and you have to do that by June 1st.
