The Renfrew Timberwolves scored early and held back a late onslaught on Sunday night to force one more game against the Arnprior Packers.
Goals from Blake Egan, Connor Hanniman, and Parker Evans staked Renfrew to an early lead, leaving the Timberwolves to fend off an offensive flurry from Arnprior, including a third period where they were outshot 13-5, to beat the Packers 3-1. Ethan Smith scored for Arnprior with seconds left in the first period, avoiding a shutout.
Their EOJHL Richardson Division semi-finals series is now tied at 3-3 as action heads back down Highway 17 for Game 7 at the Nick Smith Centre this Monday, March 16th. Game time is 8:30.
