Firefighters in Admaston/Bromley are giving the community plenty of time to put an end to any open-air fires planned for the spring.
Local Fire Chief Bill McHale is reminding residents within the township that Wednesday, April 15th, will be the last day that open-air and brush fires are permitted.
Campfires and burn barrels with a mesh screen no larger than 5 mm are permitted year-round, so long as they are in an approved pit or barrel.
Chief McHale also reminds you that campfires should be considered for cooking, warmth, and recreation only, with a maximum size of 2 feet wide by 2 feet long by 2 feet tall.
Admaston/Bromley Township may issue a burn ban at any time during the year, with updates made available on the township’s website.
