TODAY: Renfrew’s myFM Centre will host this year’s EOSSAA A/AA Boys Hockey Championship this Tuesday! Games at 8am, 10:30am, 1pm on both ice pads (may be 15 min difference on BEI arena). Final at approx 3:30pm No charge. St. Joseph’s High School from Renfrew hosting as well as playing.
TODAY: Every Tuesday this fall and winter, the Renfrew Legion is hosting weekly cornhole league from 6-10pm. 4 person teams, $540. Each league is 27 weeks, with a year-end tournament in April, and cash prizes at end of year. For further information or registration, please call Sean at 613-915-3506.
TOMORROW: Renfrew’s Boston Pizza invites you to join them for a very special night of Music Trivia, Wednesday night starting at 6:00 pm. Chris Cooper from CCDJ Events hosts as the night celebrates the memory of Renfrew Wolves pack member Kristina Lafrance. Teams of up to 6 can sign up for $10 per person, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. TOMORROW: Hospice Renfrew is hosting a special support group for people in their second year of coping with grief and beyond, every second Wednesday of the month from 4:30 to 6:00 pm inside their Albert St. office. They provide a confidential, safe space to connect with other grieving people with shared types of loss or who are in similar stages of their grief journey. The groups are held monthly and facilitated by our trained facilitators. Attendance is free but we do ask participants to complete a brief intake process to register by calling 613-433-3993 ext. 2237 or email grief@hospicerenfrew.ca
