After a year on the outside looking in, Renfrew’s Jr. A Wolves are back in the hunt for the Bogart Cup.
The Wolves punched their ticket to the CCHL postseason on Saturday night after overcoming an early deficit to beat the Pembroke Lumber Kings 5-1 at home.
Riley Streska, John Collins-Williams, and Theo Avila answered for the Wolves after Pembroke opened the scoring in the first period. Dylan Peron would add a pair of goals late in the game to seal the win.
Renfrew sits third in the Robinson Division, 13 points back of second-place Kemptville with three games left to play over the next week. The Wolves return to home ice Tuesday, March 10, at 8:00 PM when they host Brockville at the myFM Centre.
