The 59th Annual Arnprior Optimist Winter Carnival has seen more events spread over more days than ever before- and the best is still to come.
Spokesperson Chris Toner picks up activities with Friday.
Named after the former owner/operator of Smith’s Dairy, the tourney draws teams from far and wide.
Toner says there’s also a super cover band performing, and the perennial Optimist food auction fundraiser.
Things get underway very early on Saturday morning.
As you enjoy your breakfast, the Museum will entertain the kids.
After 11AM Saturday, the Museum yields to musical entertainment for the children.
One of Toner’s favourite events sees him play host.
The Wine Tasting was formerly the event that wrapped up the Arnprior Optimist Winter Carnival- but not this year!
Afternoon activities are on the ice at the Rink of Dreams, and in the evening, to conclude, on the ice at the NSC.
During all of the events- whether you’re a spectator, or participant, you’ll have a chance to participate in the Carnival Raffle.
And the fourth and fifth prizes, Chris?
