Sponsorships help to include more entertainment and programs for town events | Photo Credit: Town of Renfrew
For a few years now the Town of Renfrew’s recreation services have accepted community sponsorships to help fund events they organize throughout the year.
To kick of 2026 the town has reworked its sponsorship webpage.
Now potential sponsors can view all available programs for 2026, even up to the next installment of Frew Year’s Eve.
Community outreach and programs supervisor, Janyne Fraser, said Renfrew’s communications and engagement coordinator, Hannah MacMillan, made the changes to streamline the sponsorship registration process.
The new sponsorship packages also include all relevant information about future events which will save everybody time down the road.
Organizations are encouraged to sponsor town events because it directly supports community programs, but also takes some of the financial burden away from the town.
More grandiose events such as the Canada Day fireworks show can run a pretty penny, but a sponsor would cover a lot of the cost, easing the load on the taxpayers.
Potential sponsors can check out the Renfrew’s recreation programs on the town’s website.
