Renfrew OPP have been occupied lately responding to multiple calls involving criminal activity in and around Renfrew.
On Dec. 29, at approximately 5:25 a.m. the Renfrew OPP responded to a breach of probation call for service in the Town of Renfrew.
An investigation ensued and one person was charged with four counts of failing to comply with a probation order and trespassing at night.
One individual in McNab/Braeside decided to forgo holiday hospitality in the new year.
On Jan. 1 at around 12:20 a.m., Renfrew OPP received a call about an unwanted person.
As a result of an investigation one person was charged with assault and has been since released and scheduled for a court appearance in Pembroke.
On Jan. 3, Renfrew OPP laid multiple charges on a 29-year-old Renfrew man after responding to a call about a disturbance at around 2:50 a.m. in-town.
The man was charged with obstructing a peace officer, causing a disturbance and public mischief.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
