On Monday the County of Renfrew published their final construction update for the year.
The county did not mention in this report what projects have been completed since their last update in November, however the report says 2025 was a successful year overall for the county’s public works division.
Wrapping up 2025 the county successfully rehabilitated 60.58 kilometres of county roads, they rehabilitated or replaced eight bridges and the county opened 52.4 kilometres of Algonquin Trail.
Comparing December’s update to November, the Waba Creek Bridge construction in McNab/Braeside and the Algonquin Trail construction in Head, Clara and Maria have been struck from the list.
However, the construction on Storyland Rd. has not yet been completed and construction has been paused until spring thaw in 2026.
