TODAY:The Town of Renfrew will mark Remembrance Day with a special ceremony outside Town Hall this Tuesday. Town officials will join members of the local Legion branch and armed forces members at the Low Square Cenotaph to commemorate the fallen starting just before 11:00.
TODAY: The Renfrew Legion is hosting our annual Remembrance Day Dinner at the Branch this Tuesday. Social Hour is at 5pm, with dinner at 6pm. Dinner is ham with scalloped potatoes, with carrots, roll, and dessert. Tickets are $20 per person. Free tickets are available for Veterans with spouse or caregiver. TOMORROW: Greenlaw Farm, 2618 Burnstown Road, presents Goat Yoga with instructors Carly from Unite Your Soul Yoga and Kristy Brooks this Wednesday starting at 6:45 pm. Bring your mat and stretch out with the playful Greenlaw goats for $30 for monthly members or $35 for drop-ins. Part of the proceeds from each class will be donated to Valley Animal Rescue! TOMORROW: Wednesday night is Kid’s Night in McNab/Braeside! Each month, the township hosts a different event perfect for young residents in the township at the John A. Gillies Centre. This month’s theme is 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐎𝐟 𝐀 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥 – 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲: Come dressed inspired by Taylor Swift or one of her songs! Cost is $15 per youth, which includes pizza and drink for dinner.
