TODAY: The Arnprior/McNab/Braeside Seniors at Home Program hosts a full course luncheon event at the Arnprior Legion Hall on Wednesday, Nov 5th from 12-2pm. Choice of sandwiches chicken salad or salmon. Dave Hurley will entertain. Tickets $12 each. All seniors or adults with disabilities welcome.
TODAY: Greenlaw Farm, 2618 Burnstown Road, presents Goat Yoga with instructors Carly from Unite Your Soul Yoga and Kristy Brooks this Wednesday starting at 6:45 pm. Bring your mat and stretch out with the playful Greenlaw goats for $30 for monthly members or $35 for drop-ins. Part of the proceeds from each class will be donated to Valley Animal Rescue! TOMORROW: The Renfrew Legion Ladies Auxiliary hosts a paint night with instructor Natalie Stevens, this Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00. Register by texting Liz at 613-570-1805 then drop by the their Branch office on Raglan Street South that evening for a fun night at the canvas! $40 fee to take part, plus snakes and supplies. The cash bar will be open.
TOMORROW: The Lanark & Renfrew Immigrant and Settlement Services will provide a hands-on workshop to help newcomers navigate their first Canadian winter, this Thursday at 3:30pm inside the Renfrew Public Library. Topics include interpreting weather alerts, building a winter emergency kit, dressing appropriately, and road safety. Participants will receive take-home resources, and translated materials will be available. Register online.
