TODAY: Renfrew Victoria Hospital Auxiliary is holding a fundraising Thanksgiving Bake Sale, Friday, Oct 10th, 2025 starting at 9am at Scott & Sons Hardware, 150 Raglan St S in Renfrew. There will be baked beans, pies and all sorts of baking. Come out and enjoy and support the Renfrew Hospital.
TOMORROW: Valley Animal Rescue is having their annual Thanksgiving Bake Sale, this Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Warehouse, 57 Raglan Street South. There will be lots of goodies to choose from for your Thanksgiving meal or just to enjoy any time. All funds raised go towards vetting and food for the animals in VAR’s care. Hope to see you there!
TOMORROW: Renfrew’s Pizza Hut is joining forces with the Renfrew Fire Department for a special presentation as part of Fire Prevention Awareness week. Firefighters will be at the restaurant from 11:00 to 2:00 this Saturday, October 11th, to share information on fire safety and demonstrating some of their equipment. Attendees will also receive reading materials from fire department along with pizza or dessert from Pizza Hut. Plus, Pizza Hut will donate $5 from each pizza sold that day to the Renfrew Fire Department!
TOMORROW: The Bright Futures Benefit Dance will take over the Albert Street Parish Hall in Arnprior this Saturday night starting at 5:00 pm, raising money to help three local kids in their battle against cancer. Entry by donation. Live music from local fan favourites Cohan Lauzon and the band Silas. Plus, both a cash bar and a Taco Bar hosted by Sandee’s Country Kitchen, prize draws, auctions, and a mini-putt challenge!
