A new influx of cash at Renfrew Victoria Hospital is set to help keep nurses in the loop.
The hospital has announced a $679,356 investment from the Ontario Ministry of Health’s Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund supporting the replacement of RVH’s aging nurse call system, enhancing communication between patients and care teams, and improving response times across the hospital.
Hospital President and CEO Suzanne Madore is “incredibly grateful” to the province for the funding, noting that “the nurse call system is a vital part of our daily operations, and this upgrade will directly benefit both patients and staff by improving efficiency and safety.”
The new system is expected to be installed with minimal disruption to patient care during the transition before the end of March 2026.
