Renfrew's Della Chretien, who has raised over $1,800 for the Terry Fox Foundation
Runners in Renfrew marked 45 straight years of honouring a Canadian legend by shooting well past their goal over the weekend.
Renfrew’s annual Terry Fox Run took advantage of good weather and high spirits outside the myFM Centre on Sunday, September 14th, for another successful trip down the Millennium Trail, bringing in $15,761 and counting for vital cancer research.
The total comes just short of their record-breaking 2024, which saw residents raise just over $16,000 for the cause, and will add to the more than $550,000 raised by the community since it held one of the very first Terry Fox runs back in 1981, one year following Fox’s Marathon of Hope.
