Here is a quick snapshot of what’s happening around town the next 48 hours.
TODAY: The Shawville Shenanigans Playgroup invite families to join them at Mill Dam Park this Friday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 for a special outdoor playgroup. The day provides the same great relaxed environment for kids 0-5 that their usual play sessions provide in a new location. Snacks will be provided, but be sure to bring sun protection and plenty of water. If the weather is bad, the group will meet at the nearby Anglican Church Hall if available.
TODAY: The Town of Renfrew invites you to a Seniors, Parents, and Tots Skate this Friday from 10:30 am to Noon at the myFM Centre’s Pad #2. These exclusive time slots allow for a more casual experience that’s perfect for younger and elderly skaters, as well as for taking your tot along in a stroller. Don’t forget your helmet!
TOMORROW: Gymnastics EH, Renfrew’s local youth gymnastics program, is taking registration for the upcoming winter season. Parents are invited to sign their kids up this Saturday from 9:00 am to Noon inside the myFM Centre’s Multipurpose Room 1. Classes are open for boys and girls aged 6-7, 8-9, and 10+. Make sure to bring your kid with you for a suit fitting, plus their health card and the $160 fee per gymnast.
TOMORROW: Poutine Feast, Canada largest traveling poutine festival, returns to the Ottawa Valley all weekend long inside Arnprior’s Robert Simpson Park. Join the fun all weekend long and experience an unforgettable time filled with classic and unique takes on Canada’s iconic dish, plus great music, games, competitions and more!
