The event will be taking place in the Recreation Fundraising Committee Community Hall on the second floor, right above the main lobby.
The upcoming Community Volunteer Fair is where various organizations in the Valley will be looking for volunteers to fill their ranks.
It’s happening at the myFM Centre on Tuesday Oct. 28, and it’s running from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.
This is the place to be for those looking to provide an extra helping hand in Renfrew’s vibrant community.
Carrie Cunningham, Town of Renfrew’s program assistant, said 15 organizations’ attendance are confirmed but they always have room for more.
A few of the participating organizations include Hospice Renfrew, Renfrew Public Library and Community Living Renfrew.
Cunningham said the diversity of jobs in the valley can provide opportunities for a multitude of interests.
The Community Volunteer Fair differs from other local networking events.
The Town of Renfrew said to keep an eye out on their website and socials to see what organizations will be attending.
