TODAY: The Grove Rove returns to Arnprior’s Gillies Grove Nature Reserve this Saturday at 9:00 am! Enjoy a beautiful amble through the old-growth forest and learn some amazing facts along the way! This month’s walk will be a slower pace on a wide and flat trail, suitable for those who like a shorter walk or who those with mobility challenges. Meet at the Ottawa St. entrance!
TODAY: The Calabogie Market returns this Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00pm at 574 Mill Street, Calabogie! Come shop and chat with lovely vendors and creators from around the valley under the covered arena. Live music by various artists.
TOMORROW: Renfrew’s Music in the Park series returns to O’Brien Park, just outside the McDougal Mill Museum, each Sunday this summer for an afternoon featuring some of the best musical talent the community has to offer! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and even a pack a picnic for this Sunday’s performance from The Lofters! Show starts at 1:00 pm!
ALL WEEKEND: The AOPFN Traditional Pow Wow Committee invites you to The Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation 36th Annual Traditional Pow Wow, August 16th to August 17th at the Pikwakanagan Cultural Grounds. Visitors are attracted to our dance, songs, drumming and experiencing an Algonquin cultural tradition. There is also opportunity to view and purchase unique items at our many vendors selling: jewelry, crafts, art, clothing, beadwork, leather purses, regalia, drums, CD’s, dreamcatchers, moccasins and many other items.
