A foot-chase bagged an alleged shoplifter making a getaway from a Raglan Street South business in Renfrew last Thursday (August 7th).
Officers witnessed the scene, at about 10:50 that morning, with store employees in hot pursuit.
Police located the individual and formed grounds for an arrest.
The investigation led to 23 year-old Gabrielle Carthy of Renfrew being charged with shoplifting, theft under 5k.
The accused is to appear in Pembroke Court September 17th.
