TODAY: The Bonnechere Algonquin First Nation’s EarlyOn Mobile Unit teams up with the Renfrew Library this Thursday to teach Renfrew’s kids through stories and songs during an interactive indigenous drumming session. Perfect for kids aged 0-6, registration required.
TODAY: Hospice Renfrew hosts a monthly gathering for those adjusting to life without a loved one to connect with others who have experienced loss, happening this Thursday, August 7th from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at the Arnprior Public Library on Madawaska Street. The meeting is free to attend, pre-registration required by calling 613-433-3993 ext. 2237
TOMORROW:The Downtown Renfrew BIA welcomes you to kick start your weekend with Music in the Square! Every Friday in July and August, the BIA will bring local artists and bands to Low Square, just outside Town Hall on Raglan Street! While you’re there, check out the Heart of Renfrew Market happening along Railroad Avenue. This week, Aerik Watson takes the stage from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Weather permitting.
TOMORROW: The Eganville and District Minor Hockey Association trades their sticks for clubs this Friday at the Pucks to Putters Golf Tournament! Tee off time at Whitetail Golf Club is at 12:30 pm, featuring great prizes, great times, and great food, all in support of local minor hockey.
