The County of Renfrew is pushing back against claims being made about the ongoing county road rehabilitation in Arnprior.
Officials explain that a paving company has been approaching people along County Road 2 (Daniel Street), mentioning that they are connected to the work being done.
They say those claims are false, and that the company is not connected to the County or the contractor doing the job, R.W. Tomlinson Limited.
Should that company approach you, the county says to proceed with caution.
